Lech is considered the cradle of downhill skiing. It is therefore not surprising that the history of the modern ski boot also begins here. In 1921, Ambros Strolz senior opened his shoemaker's workshop and made leather ski boots by hand for early winter sports pioneers. With Olivia Strolz, the fourth generation is already at the helm of the traditional Lech-based enterprise, which recently celebrated its 100th anniversary. The great-granddaughter of founder Ambros Strolz practically grew up in the Sport Shop, where she frolicked between fashion items and ski boots as a child. With her passion for old-world craftsmanship and flair for technical innovation, she ensures that Strolz continues to provide the best equipment, clothing and footwear, carefully selected for the Arlberg climate and lifestyle.
