KJUS was founded in the early 2000s by two outstanding personalities: Lasse Kjus, a Swiss-Norwegian alpine ski racer with numerous World Championships and Olympic victories, and Didi Serena, an experienced entrepreneur in the textile industry. Lasse Kjus utilized his passion for skiing and his deep understanding of the demands for sportswear to develop a brand with Didi Serena. The clear objective of this brand was to create highly technical and performance-oriented ski apparel that meets the high demands of professional skiers. KJUS has been characterized from the outset by innovation and quality. The brand introduced pioneering technologies into its products, including breathable and waterproof stretch materials that increased comfort on the slopes. Special attention was given to excellent fit, ensuring freedom of movement and comfort. Over the years, KJUS expanded its range from ski jackets and pants to mid-layers, accessories, and other outdoor clothing. The products from KJUS are designed to enable athletes to focus entirely on their sporting experience.

Among the greatest innovations are materials that regulate body temperature, provide freedom of movement, and ensure exceptional wearing comfort.

In the summer of 2019, KJUS was acquired by the company Acushnet. Its portfolio includes high-end golf brands such as Titleist, Footjoy, and Scotty Cameron.

KJUS products are full of intelligent technologies to maximize comfort, weather protection, and thereby the slope performance and above all the user's well-being. 3D technology is utilized by integrating stretch fabrics in all layers and dimensions, which is logical in a stretch jacket but unfortunately far from the standard in the market, requiring immense know-how in planning and production. Stretch like no other - one of KJUS's creeds is, "Unrestricted freedom of movement is the key to greater performance." This principle was fundamental to the creation of the brand and continues to play a central role in product development at KJUS. Based on 3D technology, the brand's jackets and pants are now stretchable in all directions. In KJUS products, stretch refers not only to the outer shell; they have developed 4-way stretch linings and insulation materials, ensuring maximum freedom of movement, even in the seams.
