The Place of Origin
The fascinating story of Blizzard began in a modest carpentry workshop. However, what many people don't know is that the origins of the company remain vivid and integral in the large production facility in Mittersill to this day. The original carpentry shop from the last century is still part of the current factory, and this close connection to the beginnings endures – both metaphorically and physically. A few steps away from the original carpentry lie the modern factory halls where the innovative Blizzard skis are crafted.
Despite numerous expansions and advancements over time (1957, 1964, 1970), Blizzard has always placed importance on preserving the place where the brand's unique essence was born – the birthplace of the passion for premium skis.
